Ivy Scholars Initiative
The Ivy Scholars Initiative and Ivy Fellowship strive to nurture the talents of promising students who are underserved by their communities. By collaborating with community leaders and various organizations, we have a dedicated team that mentors a selected group of students on every step of their academic journeys. The Ivy Fellowship is inspired by Prime Minister Tony Blair’s 1996 education manifesto, which put “Education, Education, and Education” as the top priority of government.
The Challenge
Despite the monumental leaps in educational quality, the accessibility of online learning platforms, and the rise in global literacy rates, the academic sphere still suffers from immense inequity. Underprivileged students are largely left out and are unable to keep up with the superior resources of their counterparts. The Ivy Scholars Initiative remedies this by closing the gap between these two groups and personalizing roadmaps for each student.
Our Work
The Ivy Scholars Initiative has a comprehensive program for providing support to high-aiming students in which mentors are assigned to each student and help them strategize about their futures. These programs are centered on the EDU3 Fellowship, which is open to all middle school and high school students who aspire to achieve more through education.
