 Arvin Ahmadi

Arvin Ahmadi grew up in the Washington, DC area. He has been involved with Ivy Council since the summer of 2011, when he attended the Ivy-China RME program. Arvin has interned at various New York startups as well as AOL Ventures and TDF Ventures. He is the founder of Students for New York and a former blogger and columnist for the Columbia Daily Spectator. He once co-founded a short-lived satire publication at Columbia.

 

Jessica Barragan Vice President – Internal Affairs

Cornell ’15, Government & Sociology

 Jessica Barragan grew up in the small town of Stratford, Connecticut. At Cornell, Jessica is a junior double majoring in Government and Sociology and minoring in both Law and Society and Inequality Studies. She has been involved with Ivy Council since her freshmen year, participating in the Ivy-China Research, Mentorship, and Exchange program and previously serving on the steering board as Head Delegate for Cornell. Outside of Ivy Council, Jessica is actively involved on campus with organizations such as the Kappa Alpha Pi Pre-Law Fraternity, La Asociación Latina, and the Public Service Center Scholars program. She has also been named a Meinig Family Cornell National Scholar and a Ronald E. McNair Research Scholar. On her free time, Jessica enjoys reading, travelling, and exercising.

Harvard  ’15, Psychology & Economics

C.C. grew up in sunny Anaheim, CA. She is currently a junior at Harvard studying Psychology and Economics. When she is not reading about cognitive dissonance and Keynes, she likes to mentor girls through the non-profit organization Strong Women Strong Girls, take photos and write stories for the Harvard Crimson, and lead public speaking workshops as a Peer Speaking Tutor. She is also an elected student representative of the Harvard Undergraduate Council and a member of the Delta Gamma sorority.

 

 

Alexander Tsu Vice President – Policy

Dartmouth ’14, Economics

Alex Tsu is from Saratoga, CA, a suburban town on the edge of Silicon Valley. On campus, he has served as Treasurer and Secretary of the Class of 2014, Vice President of the Dartmouth Asian Organization, an admissions office tour guide, and Advertisement Chair for Programming Board, the Dartmouth organization that invites major artists such as A$AP Rocky, Ke$ha, and Avicii to campus. He is a diehard Golden State Warriors fan, avid poet, daily tech blog reader, and freelance graphic designer. Alex has previously served as Vice President for External Affairs and Communications.

 Dhruv Goyal 

Harvard ’16, Applied Math & Economics

 Dhruv Goyal is an applied math and economics concentrator who comes from the beautiful city of Mumbai. He is studying either Government or Statistics as a secondary. He has been a very active member of the Harvard campus in his freshman year. He was elected to the Undergraduate Council and became is Vice Chairman of the Finance Committee managing the council’s $500,000 fund.  Apart from the Undergraduate Council, he is also an active member of the Harvard College Consulting Group and the Institute of Politics at the Kennedy School. He aspires to join politics in the future and play an active role in shaping economic policy for India.

Yale ’15, Economics & French

Bianca is from northern Virginia, right outside of DC. At Yale, she is double majoring in Economics and French. She also serves on the board of Yale Undergraduate Organizations Committee and Dean’s Office Financial Aid Standing Committee. She’s been involved with Ivy Council since her freshman year, participating in Ivy-China Wuhan exchange (summer 2012) as well. Bianca enjoys playing her violin, dancing, traveling, and pulling casual all-nighters.
