Constitutional Duties

 

  • To oversee the relationship with member Ivy-wide student groups, and to determine programming allocations for said groups;
  • To work with the Vice President for Finance in preparing the annual budget for the Student Groups Committee;
  • To aid the member Student Group Representatives in ensuring that Ivy-wide programming successfully promotes Ivy interaction, and to assist with the publicity and planning of said events;
  • To provide support for the needs of student groups hoping to become Ivy-wide through affiliation with the Ivy Council;
  • To maintain open lines of communication with leadership of member student groups to ensure effective use of Ivy Council resources;
  • To oversee and execute the High School Outreach program;
  • To oversee and facilitate new and existing organizational partnerships;
  • To chair the External Affairs Committee, which consists of the Voting Delegates for External Affairs of the member schools, and the Student Group Representatives from each of the member student groups;
  • To execute such duties as assigned to him or her by the President or the Steering Board.

 

Additional Duties

 

 

  • Attend at least two of the three major annual conferences (Fall Colloquium, Ivy Leadership Summit, Spring Colloquium).
  • Miss no more than two weekly Steering Board meetings between the months of September and December, January and May.
