Constitutional Duties

 

  • To facilitate and expand communication among the student governments and administrations of the member schools;
  • To distribute approved resolutions and informational documents to the relevant parties at the member schools;
  • To collect, file, and distribute passed resolutions of the member student governments and program materials of the Ivy Council, filed pursuant to Article II, Section 3;
  • To plan and coordinate, in conjunction with the Voting Delegates for Policy, all conferences centered around knowledge exchange;
  • To supervise efforts at each member school to improve the relationship with the member student governments and campus administrators through frequent contact and visitations;
  • To call, prepare agendae for, and preside over meetings of the Legislative Council.
  • To oversee and execute all knowledge exchange programs including, but not limited to, Ivypedia;
  • To execute such duties as assigned to him or her by the President or the Steering Board.

 

Additional Duties

 

  • Attend at least two of the three major annual conferences (Fall Colloquium, Ivy Leadership Summit, Spring Colloquium).
  • Miss no more than two weekly Steering Board meetings between the months of September and December, January and May.
