- To aid the President in matters concerning the internal operation of the Ivy Council, and to assume the duties of the President should the President be unable to carry them out for any reason;
- To collect, prepare, and distribute proposed resolutions and amendments for Steering Board and Legislative Council meetings as necessary;
- To maintain accurate membership rosters of the Ivy Council, including meeting attendance records;
- To oversee, facilitate and approve all elections and appointment processes including, but not limited to, those of the Steering Board, individual Ivy Council delegations, etc.;
- To oversee, assist and support each school’s Ivy Council delegations in order to ensure progress and parity at each school;
- To report to the Steering Board and, where appropriate, to the Legislative Council and to the Board of Governors on matters relevant to the internal operation of the school Ivy Council delegations;
- To prepare for Steering Board approval the Ivy Council Annual and, when necessary, Rotation Calendars and to maintain and update said calendars as necessary;
- To execute such duties as assigned to him or her by the President or the Steering Board.
- Attend at least two of the three major annual conferences (Fall Colloquium, Ivy Leadership Summit, Spring Colloquium).
- Miss no more than two weekly Steering Board meetings between the months of September and December, January and May.
