- To maintain open lines of communication with the members of the Executive Board, Executive Committees, the Board of Governors, and the Project Leaders of the Ivy Council, and to inform said parties of Council matters;
- To coordinate all efforts concerning media relations for the Ivy Council and its Executive Committees;
- To oversee the alumni affairs program;
- To compile and distribute the Ivy Council Quarterly Report and the Ivy Council Newsletter for internal Steering Board use, internal Ivy Council school delegation use, publicity purposes, alumni distribution, and student government relations;
- To maintain accurate minutes of all meetings of the Steering Board, of the Legislative Council, and of the Board of Governors and to distribute said minutes to the appropriate persons and to the student governments of the member schools within two weeks of said meetings;
- To distribute copies of the agenda of, including all substantive resolutions to be considered at, each meeting of the Legislative Council and Steering Board to the appropriate persons and to all member student governments at least two weeks in advance of said meeting;
- To produce, coordinate and execute all marketing materials for all Ivy Council programs and events;
- To coordinate and oversee all marketing efforts of the Ivy Council;
- To chair the Communications Committee, which consists of the Chapter Secretaries of the member schools, the ICC Chairperson, and all PR or relevant Project Chairs of Ivy Council Programs;
- To execute such duties as assigned to him or her by the President or the Steering Board.
- Attend at least two of the three major annual conferences (Fall Colloquium, Ivy Leadership Summit, Spring Colloquium).
- Miss no more than two weekly Steering Board meetings between the months of September and December, January and May.
