- To manage any and all financial assets, revenues, and expenditures of the Ivy Council; as well as to collect dues and issue all necessary reimbursements;
- To accurately document all receipts and expenditures and to provide in writing at each meeting of the Steering Board and of the Board of Governors a report including all receipts and expenditures to date of that year and the current balance and distribution of the funds of the Ivy Council;
- To coordinate and file any and all necessary tax and/or 501(c)3 tax-exempt documents for the Ivy Council;
- To determine annual allocations to each of the committees and programs of the Ivy Council, and to prepare, in conjunction with the President, an annual budget for the Ivy Council;
- To act as the Treasurer of the Ivy Council, and as such shall preside over all meetings of the Board of Governors;
- To chair the Finance Committee, which consists of the Chapter Treasurers of the member schools, and to coordinate the Committee’s application efforts for corporate sponsorships and grants;
- To review and revise as necessary, in conjunction with the Finance Committee and the Board of Governors, the Financial Guidelines of the Ivy Council;
- To execute such duties as assigned to him or her by the President or the Steering Board.
- Attend at least two of the three major annual conferences (Fall Colloquium, Ivy Leadership Summit, Spring Colloquium).
- Miss no more than two weekly Steering Board meetings between the months of September and December, January and May.
