Amidst this particularly snowy winter, the Ivy Council has aimed to heat things up by launching its latest project “Ivy Grams for America’s Promise.” For just small amount, students across the Ivy League can send an Ivy Gram Valentine to colleagues from any other Ivy League School. With this event, the Ivy Council seeks to raise funds for America’s Promise, its official philanthropy partner that seeks to assist children from all socioeconomic backgrounds to attain a college education.
Ivy Council is a non-profit organization that strives to unite student leaders across the eight Ivy League institutions through fostering leadership, facilitating communication, creating relationships and bettering the global community. Though initially founded as a governing body amongst the Ivy League schools, the organization has since expanded its mission to incorporate projects such as the Ivy Grams for America’s Promise to create a sense of community and cohesion amongst students from each unique university.
